Fall 2024 Undergraduate Hardware Engineering Co-Op/Intern
LOCATION: Austin, Boxborough.
ONSITE/HYBRID: These roles require the student to work full time (40 hours a week), either in a hybrid or onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.

As an intern, you will be part of AMD's next generation of technology innovations. You will work with diverse and talented teams. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more of the following, C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, MATLAB.
PLEASE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- ASIC Design and Verification
- Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- System/Board Design, Circuit Board Layout, Signal Integrity, Power Design
- Microelectronics
- Nanotechnology
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
- Hardware Automation, Validation and Test
- UNIX/Linux and JTAG tools
- Pre-Silicon and/or Post Silicon platforms
- Computer architecture, CPU & GPU Architecture
- Physics background
- Computational background
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Strong passion for technology and hardware development.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited US University, preferable in Junior or Senior year.
- Studying Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Physics, Microelectronics, or Mechanical Engineering.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
