We are hiring for multiple co-op/intern positions that vary between on-site and hybrid. Students will be required to work in the office on a schedule based on the team’s requirements.
Program Term
8-month position from January 8, 2024 - August 30, 2024
The Role
Do you want to help improve experiences of cutting-edge AMD products? If so, the AMD Hardware team is the right place for you. We develop applications for external and internal use as well as large scale systems that improve the productivity of AMD’s Hardware organization.
What you’ll be doing
Maintain and improve multiple flows that ensure the quality of the design
Develop essential production engineering laboratory skills, testing new and old products
Will be involved in many aspects of the flow from initial test planning to coverage and signoff
Design, implement, debug, and validate features on reference hardware, pre-silicon emulation and simulation environments
What you’ll learn

Key Qualifications
3rd year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field/discipline
Returning to school following the co-op term
Written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an emphasis on product development
Preferred Qualifications
Please have knowledge of one or more of the following technical skills
Languages: RTL, Verilog/System Verilog, C, C++, Python, Perl, TCL, MATLAB
Basic UNIX knowledge, scripting is a plus
Knowledge of basic digital circuits and object-oriented programming
Knowledge of PC system architecture
Good understanding of the fundamentals of analog, logic circuits, ASIC flow and digital electronics
