MTS DESIGN ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
As a Silicon Design Engineer, you will work with architects designers to verify functional design properties and drive convergence.
THE PERSON:
You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform pre-Silicon Verification of next generation high performance Microprocessor designs and related IPs.
- Develop, document and execute on verification testplans at unit level of design hierarchy.
- Develop high level language testbench components including stimulus drivers, behavioral models, monitors and checkers in SystemVerilog following UVM methodology.
- Develop, simulate and debug directed/random stimulus to ensure design functionality according to specifications.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Proficient in debugging RTL code using simulation tools.
- Experience or familiarity with functional verification tools by VCS,Cadence,Mentor Graphics.
- Proficient in using UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments.
- Proficient in IP level ASIC verification
- Exposure to simulation profile, efficiency improvement, acceleration.
- Exposure to leadership or mentorship is an asset
- Scripting language experience: Perl, Ruby, Makefile, shell preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
- Good knowledge of English.
- Individual responsibility and a strong desire for personal achievements.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Proven experience on SystemVerilog & UVM.
- Strong understanding of computer organization/architecture.
