As an intern, you will directly influence the development of hardware IP that is used extensively in a wide variety of devices, from mobile phones and tablets to sensors to servers.

The Sophia CPU team is an international team comprising an enthusiastic mix of experts and talented graduates. Focused on CPU development, our activities are available to various software and hardware profiles, spanning from early performance and micro-architectural modelling up to RTL design and physical implementation of the final product, supported by a diverse mix of state-of-the-art functional verification methodologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Looking for students in their last year of Masters (BAC+5 or equivalent), in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant field, and available for 5 to 6 months.
We are looking for students with the following skills or experience:
- Use of UNIX and shell programming.
- Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytic skills
“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:
Depending on the selected internship subject, desirable skills might include:
- CPU microarchitecture knowledge
- Scripting or Programming skills (C or C++ language, Assembly, Python, shell, ...)
- Hardware design (VHDL or Verilog)
