Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hardware products and systems, end to end product development experience is a must
- Should design develop and implement FPGA solution for accelerating image processing algorithms.
- Should support design changes and obsolescence management to adopt new FPGA solution
- Should support the firmware team to migrate FPGA to a microprocessor based solution.
- Should address Field issues identify the problem and take corrective actions in a time bound manner
- Conduct FMEAs and other failure analysis of FPGA Designs and related hardware
- Support hardware team to Design, define, and simulate analog and digital circuits.
- Responsible for schematic design , CDR and change management if needed.
- Responsible for new product transfer from R&D to production and provide related technical document.
- Responsible for the hardware circuit problem solving and product design upgrade of the products that have been put into production
- Co-work with local FW/SW/Testing team on system level issues through the project development
- Co-ordinate with regulatory team for product certification
- Co-ordinate with Manufacturing and setup production and test setups
- Chip selection, Hardware debugging, Hardware simulation, Hardware test automation
- Co-work with worldwide hardware team, system team and Customer engineering team on the development status sync up, issue debugging
- Recruit and Mentor Junior Engineer
WE VALUE
- 5 + Years in FPGA development and related hardware architecture preferably Xilinx
- 5+ Year experience in C, C++ VHDL, Lucid, Bash , System Verilog etc
- Good experience in RTL coding, FPGA synthesis and static analysis
- Experience in Camera, Image sensors , Lidar sensors, related filters is an added advantage
- Experience in image processing algorithm is an added advantage
- Strong Product design capabilities from concept to System Architecture
- Design for platform, manage and control BOM for optimal cost
- Board Bring-Up and testing: Including Functional tests, System testing, Compliance to specification,
- Familiar with common bus such as I2C, UART, SPI, RS485, MODBUS, CAN, etc.
- Good analytical skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware problems including field issue
- Experience in RF design for wireless technologies such as Zigbee, Bluetooth, WIFI products.
- Should be motivated to learn quickly and adapt.
- Familiar with I2C, UART, SPI, RS485, MODBUS, CAN
- Working knowledge in Microsoft tools, Jira or any project management tools
- Working knowledge in code management tools like bit bucket, SVN etc
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills – MS Excel/MS Access/Etc.

- 6+ years of Industrial experience Product Design
