Join a team that designs, verifies, integrates and tests complex Integrated Circuit (IC) products within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be responsible for customer technical support of Honeywell’s Space Microelectronics portfolio of Radiation-Hardened ICs, including products, processes and technologies, in support of the organization's business strategies. You will develop new products and processes in support of the organization's business strategies. You will be responsible for interfacing with customers, running simulations, synthesis, test, and preparation of documentation. You will work closely with world class hardware engineers during planning, requirements and architecture, design, test, and integration phases. You will participate on project reviews and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ASICs using RTL coding languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Collaborate with system architects to define design requirements and specifications.
- Develop and optimize RTL code for performance, power, and area.
- Perform functional and timing simulations to ensure design correctness.
- Conduct synthesis, static timing analysis (STA), and formal verification.
- Work closely with verification engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Debug and resolve design issues during pre- and post-silicon validation.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and validation results.

The annual base salary range for this position is $121,000-$160,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in RTL design and ASIC development.
- Proficiency in RTL coding languages (Verilog, VHDL).
- Strong understanding of digital design principles and ASIC design flow.
- Experience with synthesis, STA, and formal verification tools.
- Knowledge of low-power design techniques and advanced process nodes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
WE VALUE
· Experience with high-performance microprocessors and SoC designs.
· Familiarity with scripting languages (Perl, Python, Tcl).
· Knowledge of design for test (DFT) methodologies.
· Experience with FPGA prototyping and emulation.
