Lead Principal Engineer Digital Design (f/m/div)

As the new Lead Principal Digital Design, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of industrial microcontrollers. You will be responsible for the definition and architecture of our next generation SoCs. In this role, you will drive innovation and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art products that will have a significant impact on the industry.
Your new role includes
- Chip-level architecture: Interpret product requirements and define chip-level architectures and SoC power concepts.
- Chip size and power estimation: Utilize your expertise to estimate chip size and power consumption accurately.
- Chip Validation: Support with your system expertise pre-silicon and post-silicon activities such as system bring-up and debugging and characterization.
- Technical leadership: Guide and inspire the project team, with your technical experience.
- Work package management: Estimate, plan, and track the work packages to meet project milestones effectively.
- Collaborative teamwork: Foster close cooperation with project management, system architects, IP vendors, functional verification, and the integration team for seamless project execution.
You are a perfect fit if you have:
- A university degree (Master) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of Digital Design
- Proficiency in top-level definition and/or top-level integration of complex SoCs
- Experience with SoC debugging and system bring-up
- Familiarity with UPF (Unified Power Format) to manage power intent in the design
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and / or Verilog / VHDL for RTL design and verification tasks
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Perl to enhance design automation and productivity
- Proven Experience in technically leading a team of experts such as
Task forces, 8D-reports and Focus teams - Fluency in English. German skills are a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
