GPU Logic Design Engineer
The GPU HW IP team (GHI) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute, and Display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We are looking for a Graphics Logic Design Engineer to join our team who ensures platform, and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components.
Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance.
Conducts system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms, develops advanced hardware tuning and overclocking.
Provide support for validation architecture of Power Management and other areas of the IP.
Willingness to work with teams located globally.
Must be self-motivated and work independently.
Bachelor's Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years industry experience or master’s degree in same field with 8+ years of Industry experience:
8+ years of experience in the following:
Hardware Architecture definition, RTL design, logic design, Power Management, Validation methodologies and timing convergence.
Verilog/ System Verilog.
Programming / scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Shell scripting automation methods.
Experience with ASIC design flow, timing constraints Knowledge of architecture specification.
Experience in power optimization of logic design components. Knowledge of UVM, SVA and validation coverage.
Experience in Structural Design flows, static timing analysis, UPF and Power Management Techniques.
Experience with display protocols such as HDMI and Display Port

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $144,501.00-$217,311.00
