This position is in Louisville, Colorado. Located near the front range of the Rocky Mountains, Louisville, a suburb of Denver, is known for its 300 days of sunshine, thriving cultural scene, and natural beauty. YOUR IMPACT
You will make an extraordinary impact in the lives of many by developing state-of-the-art embedded systems, SoC, as well as, FPGA solutions targeting F-35, F-16, and our Skunk Works IRADs. As an experienced professional in hardware and C/C++ software for embedded systems and FPGA cores, you may be sought after for ingenious solutions to complex problems while also guiding and mentoring junior engineers.
Beyond that, you may also find yourself:
• Utilizing SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL
• Involved in all phases of software development
• Participating in Advanced Development Program research and development
• Creating architecture design, logic design, and system simulation
• Simulation and analysis of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA)s

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with complex electronics and embedded systems, such as FPGA and hardware development.
• Xilinx FPGA design experience.
• Vivado and Questa experience
• Minimum of 3 years of SystemVerilog or Verilog/VHDL
• Constrained random testbench development
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required for this position.
Desired Skills:
Experience with agile development, configuration management and continuous integration processes and methodologies.
• Experience preparing system architectures and appropriate UML diagrams.
• Strong mentoring skills and experience leading groups.
• Strong technical communication skills (experience communicating technical designs to non-technical customers and communicating customer desires to technical team).
• Experience with industry standard agile development tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
• Understanding of networking and PCIe standards.
• Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ability to adapt well to change, as the working environment has evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
• Bachelor's from an accredited college in Electrical or Computer Engineering or bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $89,600 - $171,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
