Configuration Application Engineer
Job Description

As an Configuration Applications Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
Debug configuration-related issues, determine root cause, and drive corrective action within the organization.
Provide technical support and training for Intel's FPGA configuration and programming solutions.
Develop and validate design examples on development kits to showcase Intel FPGA configuration features.
Develop technical documentation such as device handbook, user guides, tutorials and application notes for key features/applications of FPGA configuration methods.
For each Quartus release, perform readiness testing to ensure that the configuration behavior of the release meets customer specifications; document any variances.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field (documentation related to Bachelor's degree completion will be required).
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have 1+ years of experience in:
- System design and board bring up.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FPGA and CPLD technologies, including Quartus Prime Pro Software.
Embedded boot and device configuration (Uboot, Linux).
Board logic design including device interconnection, flash interfaces.
C and Python programming.
VHDL/Verilog programming.
Experience in device security (including encryption and authentication).
