THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Director of Silicon Design Engineering focusing on Networking IPs & Solutions.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience building and scaling a world-class teams working on multiple projects and delivering silicon from concept to design
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of hardware engineers building high performance Networking IPs & Solution
- Recruit, develop and retain a world-class team of top engineers
- Develop next generation Networking Silicon IPs, FPGA and ASIC based SmartNIC
- Collaborate closely with architects, software and firmware teams to develop system solutions
- Work closely with geographically dispersed team to align objectives and meet quality criteria for each milestones
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 15+ years of experience with RTL design & implementation, either on FPGA-based or ASIC-based system
- 5+ years of experience leading and growing hardware design teams
- Extensive domain knowledge across network function acceleration, network overlay protocols, virtualization, data-path optimization
- Extensive domain knowledge including state of the art EDA tools to develop high quality products with efficiency
- Great mentoring and coaching skills
- Proven execution leadership, experience shipping hardware products
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
BS/MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
