In your new role you will:
- Tasks include evaluation of system specifications and functional requirements, architecture definition of cores and subsystems, drafting of component and sub-block specifications, and analysis and modeling of relevant systems and subblocks for development of advanced, innovative power electronic systems, including:
- power electronics, components, systems, and controllers
- system analysis
- system modeling
- digital signal processing and control algorithms,
- analog, digital, and mixed-signal design
- design, verification, and validation
- Senior level or higher currently pursuing a BSEE/MSEE
- Understanding of power systems and controller architecture: DC-DC conversion, mixed-signal IC design, FPGA, digital signal processing and control.
- Familiarity with system concept engineering including one or more of the following: Cores & Subsystems, microcontroller, firmware and software development for embedded control, applications in power, audio, motor and control systems, system definition, specification, and verification
- Familiarity with analog, digital, physical modeling tools, systems/analytical tools, firmware, and software development: MATLAB/Simulink, Behavioral Modeling (C/System C, Verilog/VHDL), C++/Python, circuit simulation (SPICE, Simetrix/Simplis, N95)
