Job Description

As a Transceiver Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support for Intel PSG's components, tools, and intellectual property focused on high-speed serial interface technology ie: NRZ, PAM4. This role includes creating technical manuals and checkout for new gigabit transceiver equipped Intel FPGA devices. You will be providing expert assistance in high-speed system solutions for Intel FGPA devices and our IP solutions and define and drive resolution and communication strategy to resolve customer issues in a timely manner to ensure a successful design experience with Intel PSG Products. Your responsibilities will include: Review Transceiver architectural specifications and requirements, perform product evaluations, and provide feedback on ease of use. Define and develop unit tests and perform checkout to ensure the readiness of feature releases. Develop technical assets such as user guides, application notes, design examples, demos and training that will enable users to successfully design with our products. Respond to customer technical questions, debug, reproduce customer issues, drive issue resolution with the engineering organization as well as drive Close-Loop Corrective Action (CLCA). Create customer ready material (including strong technical writing and presentation skills).


BSEE/MSEE or equivalent with a minimum 7 years of relevant experience - Experience in hardware debug, analog testing and measurement using equipment - Experience in high-speed serial interfacing technology ie: PCI Express, Ethernet, signal integrity, Verilog, VHDL coding simulation are strong added advantage - Strong problem solving skills and equipped with ability to drive problem resolutions are essential - Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
