MTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER - Platform Emulation
THE ROLE:
The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD’s graphics processor IP, resulting in no bugs in the final design.
THE PERSON:
A successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- IO Validation on SOC emulation platforms
- Bring-up and debug BIOS/OS on full SOC emulation platform
- Create testcases, functional coverage models and bring up validation to closure
- Debug SOC IO interfaces with transactor solutions on emulation platform.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with BIOS/OS bringup on full SOC emulation platform
- Experience working with CPU, GPU, and Memory subsystem.
- Experience with System Verilog, C/C++, or UVM for SoC verification.
- Must have hands-on experience on Zebu/Palladium/Veloce platform to bring up SoC
- Experience in writing and debugging testbenches.
- Experience on debugging SOC IO interfaces with Transactor solutions in emulation platform.
- Hands-on experience writing scripts using Python, Shell, or TCL.
- Think differently and out of the box to stress the DUT in Emulation platform and verify it in efficient way.
- Should be open to learn verification methodologies and mentoring the team.
- Motivated and self-driven.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience
