SENIOR SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER 

 

THE ROLE: 

AMD Edinburgh is adding to its IP Design team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electronic Engineer with a passion for FPGA or ASIC development to join a team with access to world-class development infrastructure to work on all aspects of FPGA and ASIC development cycles. You'll be working in a well-established team responsible for IP and silicon components and systems for use by the world’s leading wired communications companies. The role involves design, development, productization, and release of IP cores to support the very latest upcoming FPGA devices from AMD. This is an opportunity to work on leading-edge technologies and applications that are critical to our company and to our customers’ success.

 

THE PERSON: 

You have a passion for modern, complex system architecture, digital design, and digital systems in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
