Job Description

This job opportunity in IFS will be part of the Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) group which is responsible for the portions of the system foundry that brings the best of Intel technologies to IFS customers, differentiating and accelerating their solutions from architecture to post-silicon validation.

The candidate will be responsible for developing validation infrastructure for testing SOC Firmware in emulation environment. This involves working with HW engineers, porting different SOC designs to emulation. Candidate will also be responsible for enabling different Bus Functional Models needed for emulation testing, developing necessary infrastructure for connecting emulators to Virtual Platforms. Candidate will also be required to enable FW validation in emulation, developing emulation test automation infrastructure for test execution.


Qualifications


You must possess the below education and minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education:
Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

3+ years of exp in one or more of the following

5+ years of work experience in one or more of the following:


Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate must have a good understanding ARM SOC subsystem, I/O connect technologies in particular PCIe, sideband communication over aux buses such as SMBus or I2C, cache memory concepts, DRAM operation, NAND flash operation, programming languages etc.
Candidate must be able to work with minimal guidance.
Practical experience in developing UVM complaint, Emulation ready verification environment development.
Experience in Emulation specific System Verilog assertions, coverage and constrained random testing.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
