They manufacture some of the world's most recognizable consumer products, such as the iPhone, iMac, Macbook, and AirPods. Logic designers at Apple primarily work on designing custom silicon used in the company's products.
Apple is the largest tech company in the world by revenue, and the largest company in the world by market capitalization. It employs about 165,000 people worldwide. Its silicon design teams are largely based in its headquarters location in Silicon Valley, but large design teams exist in other US locations such as Austin, Texas, San Diego, California, Boston, Massachusetts, and Beaverton, Oregon. Several other offices for chip design exist abroad as well, particularly in Cambridge, United Kingdom, and Haifa, Israel.
